What Epitalon is
Epitalon (also spelled epithalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide with the sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. It was developed as a defined synthetic counterpart to epithalamin, a peptide extract of the pineal gland studied in Russian gerontology research from the 1980s onward.
Research literature studies epitalon in telomerase activity in cultured cells, pineal and circadian regulation, melatonin production in animal models, and longevity-related endpoints in aging research.
Supplied as a lyophilized powder, 50mg per vial. Store sealed vials at -20°C, protected from light and moisture.
