What Ipamorelin is
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2) in the growth hormone secretagogue class. It is a selective agonist of the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) and is noted in the literature for stimulating growth hormone release in experimental systems with little effect on cortisol, ACTH or prolactin.
